

Foshee is a junior at Gardendale High School. She has two tournament wins to her credit and she founded her high school’s fishing team. She helped create a benefit tournament to raise money for the Outdoor Ability Foundation, which provides equipment to children with disabilities to help them go hunting and fishing. Foshee is also a member of Team Pink Fishing, which raises funds for breast cancer research.

Gossett is a senior at Pell City High School. He finished third in the 2014 Costa Bassmaster High School Classic, fourth in the 2014 Costa Bassmaster High School National Championship and has qualified to compete in the upcoming national championships for B.A.S.S. and TBF.

Basinger, a junior at Magnolia High School, has 10 tournament wins and has competed in Arkansas’ state championship every year for the past five years. He helps younger anglers in fishing derbies and coaches youth baseball.

Jones is a 10th-grader at Rogers High School. He co-founded the bass team at his school, one of the first high school teams in northwest Arkansas. He competes in the Bear Creek Bassmasters as well and has turned in a runner-up finish in the club’s youth tournament for the past two years.

Mazy is in 10th grade at Boulder Creek High School. He just won the B.A.S.S. Nation High School Western Divisional in April on Clear Lake in California, to add to multiple first-place finishes in high school competition over the past year. Mazy organizes local fun days in which he and his teammates fish and help younger kids fish at local ponds.

Gomez is a junior at John F. Kennedy High School. He has won tournaments on Clear Lake twice, finished runner-up twice and finished in third twice, all in the last year. Gomez has volunteered in the Creek Week Cleanup every year for the past four years, and he’s volunteered with the Aerojet Special Needs Kids Day and participated in the Skeet Reese Fishing Derby for Kids.

Marques is a 10th-grader at Pleasant Grove High School. He’s the president of his high school team and has assisted Boy Scouts in earning their boating, fishing and outdoor merit badges. He has won and placed second in several California high school state tournaments, and he finished in the runner-up spot at the 2014 California B.A.S.S. Nation High School State Championship on the California Delta.

Villa is a senior at Windsor High School. He is the 2014 state champion, a TBF Junior State Champion and the 2014 Windsor High School Angler of the Year. Villa started the the Fighting Fish Sticks Junior Bass Club seven years ago, and he is now a mentor in the program.

Wood is a junior at Legacy High School. Last year, he won the prestigious Costa Bright Future Scholarship award, and he has several tournament wins to his credit, including the 2013 Bassmaster Junior World Championship. Wood was awarded a conservation grant in March on behalf of his high school club and the Colorado Department of Parks and Wildlife to refurbish and add structure to a pond in Denver to be used for kids’ fishing seminars.

Tomlinson is a senior at Forest High School. He is the current Florida High School State Champion, and he placed seventh in the B.A.S.S. Nation High School Southern Divisional this April. He won a recent club tournament on Toho and finished third in the Bobby Lane Cup. Tomlinson is president of the Bassmasters of Marion County High School Club. He is an active member of FFA, practicing conservation in agriculture as well as on the water.

Giella, a sophomore at Augusta Christian Schools, won the 2014 FLW High School State Championship. He has volunteered at several professional tournaments and at benefit events for disabled veterans.

Mims is in 10th grade at Alexander High School. He has multiple Top 5 tournament finishes in the last year, including at Georgia’s high school state championship. He participated in last summer’s award-winning willow grass planting conservation project at West Point Lake.

Reifschneider is a senior at Marion High School. He is president of the Eastern Iowa High School Bassmasters. Reifschneider has served as a volunteer at several events, and he teaches younger anglers about sportsmanship and conservation. He will compete on the bass fishing team at University of Dubuque next year.

Doty is a 10th-grade student at Sangamon Valley High School. He won the high school invitational on Clinton Lake in spring 2014, and he competes on the adult side in Fishers of Men Lagacy tournaments and in Thursday night local events. Doty teaches elementary school students about casting, tying knots and the catch-and-release ethic.

Neubauer is a senior at Oak Lawn Community High School. He has several runner-up finishes in the past year, and he won funds for college from the Don Pinkston Memorial Fishing Scholarship. Neubauer has taught fishing how-to seminars to adult fishing clubs as well as to elementary school kids.

Pappan is a junior at Winfield High School. Pappan won the Kansas TBF Junior State Championship in 2014. He won Rookie of the Year in his club in 2012 and followed it up the next year with an Angler of the Year win. He plans to work on cleaning up a local fishing park this summer.

Wagner is a sophomore at Yates Center High School. He and his partner were the first B.A.S.S. Nation High School championship winners in Kansas. He is a cadet in the volunteer fire department and volunteers with the Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs annual derby.

Brown is a junior at Corbin High School. He qualified for the 2015 Costa Bassmaster High School Classic and the 2014 Costa Bassmaster High School National Championship, and he won the first Bradley Roy High School Open in 2013. Brown has worked behind the scenes in several local charities, and he volunteers for Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs.

Shelton, a junior at Trigg County High School, posted a runner-up finish in last year’s KHSAA State Championship on Kentucky Lake. He also competes in the Fellowship of Christian Anglers Society. He went on a mission trip to Haiti last year to help build schools for children, and he is going back in 2015.

Holt is an 11th-grader at Oak Hill High School. He is president of his high school club and has two ALBC wins and a TBF second-place finish in the last two months. Holt picks up trash at every boat ramp he goes to.

Lambert is a senior at West Monroe High School. He and his partner won a club tournament in December 2014, and Lambert won the Fishers of Men Big Bass Classic in April 2014. He is a group leader at his church and helps run the Fishers of Men Legacy tournaments in his area. Lambert is a member of the National Honor Society.

Michael Duarte is a junior at Sparrows Point High School. He won the TBF state championship last summer, and in fall, he finished third in the TBF event on the Nanticoke River and second on the Potomac in a Maryland B.A.S.S. Nation event. Duarte formed and is president of his high school fishing club.

McClosky is in 10th grade at Southern Garrett High School. McClosky and his partner are the reigning state high school champions in Maryland. McClosky started his high school club and is its president.

Montilino is a senior at Edina High School. He won the TBF state championship last summer and was a runner-up only two weeks later in the B.A.S.S. state championship. He went on to win two more club events in summer 2014. Montilino has participated in multiple lake and park cleanup efforts and has prepared meals for the underprivileged through his local hockey association and his church.

Stearns is in the 10th grade at Lakeville North High School. He and his partner won the B.A.S.S. Nation High School Northern Divisional. Stearns founded his high school fishing club in 2014.

Grafeman is a sophomore at School of the Osage. Along with his partner, he won the Missouri state championship in fall and the Junior Bassmaster Classic in spring 2014. Grafeman volunteers to work fishing shows and to speak to elementary school kids about getting good grades and pursuing their dreams.

Lewis is a senior at Hillsboro R3 High School. He helped start the local bass club that now has more than 30 anglers, and he served as its president for three years. Lewis has competed in more than 30 tournaments, and he is a member of the Good Shepherd youth ministry.

Cox is a senior at Saltillo High School. He has worked in his family business at Hammer Fishing Rods and has spoken with other high school students about opportunities with high school competitive fishing. Cox was instrumental in the development of the Pickwick Lake Catch-A-Dream Bass Classic.

Johnson is in 10th grade at Brandon High School. His team won the Buddy Bailey team tournament on Ross Barnett Reservoir. Johnson is active in his neighborhood, taking children in the area fishing and helping the senior citizens as needed.

Grupenhoff is a sophomore at Noxon High School. He took third place last summer in a tournament on Noxon Reservoir, and he won a casting competition.

Johnson is a senior at Noxon High School. He won the state youth bass tournament in 2012 and finished third in 2013 and 2014.

Baker is a senior at the Central Academy of Technology and Arts. He took third place in the North Carolina B.A.S.S. Nation High School State Championship and is a member of the Riley’s Catch of Life Impact Leadership Team.

Luetkenhaus is a senior at Mead High School. He won the Leigh Lake Maple Creek SRA last summer and has received three Nebraska Master Angler Awards. He helped organize a local fishing club for high school students.

Spiers is a senior at John Stark High School. He and his partner won two club tournaments and the NHIAA High School Bass Fishing Championship in fall. Spiers started high school club at his school and serves as its president.

Sterritt is a senior at Exeter High School. He has been the New Hampshire Junior Bassmasters Angler of the Year for the past three years. He created, organized and helped run the first bass fishing team at his high school.

Arndt is in 11th grade at Cicero North Syracuse High School. He and his partner were runners-up in the TBF New York High School Qualifier last summer, and Arndt finished second place last fall in the B.A.S.S. Nation High School Eastern Divisional. He is the 2014 Good Ole Boys Junior Bassmasters Junior-Pro Angler of the Year. Arndt earned the New York B.A.S.S. Nation President’s Award.

Sosa-Carver is a junior at Las Cruces High School. He won this state championship in 2012 and 2013, and he finished 13th in the 2014 Costa Bassmaster High School National Championship. Sosa-Carver has organized multiple lake cleanup projects at Elephant Butte Reservoir, and he’s helped with conservation efforts through the Shimano grant-funded project headed up by Earl Conway, New Mexico B.A.S.S. Nation conservation director.

Yates is a senior at Little Axe High School. He won the 2014 TBF Southern Conference Championship and took third place in the TBF state championship. Yates began competing as an adult in the Oklahoma B.A.S.S. Nation when he was 16 and became the youngest angler ever to qualify for the Oklahoma B.A.S.S. Nation state team.

Enders is a senior at Mifflinburg Area School District. Enders is half of the reigning national championship team. He and his partner, Nick Osman, won the 2014 Costa Bassmaster High School National Championship last summer. Enders volunteers for multiple organizations, including Our Wish Foundation and Kelsey’s Dream, and serves as vice president of the Mifflinburg High School Outdoors Club. He plans to attend Bethel University and compete on the college’s fishing team.

Osman, a junior at Mifflinburg Area High School, is the other half of the reigning national championship team. He and Garrett Enders won the title last summer. Osman is president of the Susquehanna Valley High School Fishing Team and is also a member of the Washberry Fishing club. He takes terminally ill children fishing as a volunteer in the Our Wish program.

Bensel is a senior at Dixie High School. He posted Top 10 finishes in three state championships last spring. He has worked with his club to add Christmas tree habitat to area lakes and to collect gifts for the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program. Bensel plans to attend Bethel University and compete on the college’s fishing team.

McNeil is a senior at Abbeville High School. He and his partner won the B.A.S.S. Nation High School Southern Divisional this month on the Pee Dee River and also took third place in the 2015 Costa Bassmaster High School Classic Exhibition. McNeil is the founder and president of his high school’s fishing team.

Hutmacher is a 10th-grader at Chamberlain High School. He won the state high school tournament last spring on Lake Roosevelt and placed second on the Northern Divisional high school team.

Lee is a junior at Karns High School. He and his partner won the 2014 Costa Bassmaster High School Open as well as the 2015 Norris Lake Bass Pro shops event. Lee posted a Top 20 in the national championship last summer and a fourth-place finish in a TBF event last fall.

St. John is a sophomore at Campbell County High School. He won the Bass Pro Shops High School Series tournament last spring and followed it up with a Bass Pro Shops High School Classic win. St. John took sixth place in the 2015 Costa Bassmaster High School Classic. He is a member of the Cougars for Christ and has served as a spokesperson for high school fishing for the local news.

Harrell is a senior at New Caney High School. He won the TBF High School tournament last summer and the SETX High School tournament last spring. He is the 2014 SETX High School Fishing Angler of the Year. Harrell is president of his school’s fishing team, and he helped add a disability ramp to the community mission entrance and has participated in two roadside cleanups.

Penton is a senior at Sanger High School. He won the THSBA Fun ‘n sun Open in January 2014 and has several Top 10 finishes to his credit. He helped started the fishing team in his area and has served as its president for two years.

Burn is a senior at Cottonwood High School. He won the 2014 Utah B.A.S.S. Nation High School State championship and came in fourth at the 2015 B.A.S.S. Nation High School Western Divisional. Burn plans to join the U.S. Coast Guard this fall.

Rollman is an 11th-grader at Judge Memorial Catholic High School. Last summer, he won a club tournament on Pineview Reservoir and the TBF Utah Youth Qualifier on Deer Creek. In all, he’s competed in 36 Utah state junior tournaments, winning 11 times. Rollman started the fishing club at his school and serves as its president.

Bellinghiri is a 10th-grader at South Burlington High School. He won the Vermont state championship last fall on Lake Champlain. He is committed to preserving the resource for sportsmen in water and on land as he is involved with bass, deer, duck and turkey conservation.

Rexford is a 10th-grader at South Burlington High School. He won the qualifier on Lake Champlain last fall and posted a runner-up finish there the year before.

Berry is a senior at Madison County High School. He won a qualifier event in 2014 B.A.S.S. Nation Virginia High School Tournament Series and finished in the Top 10 in several others. Berry was a charter member of the Madison County High School Mountaineer Anglers.

Graves is a senior at Madison County High School. He was the top individual on the Six Man Team for his school in the 2014 Joseph Thomson Memorial Tournament, and he’s a member of the John Crews Virginia High School Elite Team.

Trapp is a junior at Selah High School. He has won the TBF High School Challenge twice in the last year, and he won the Washington TBF High School Championship last summer. He volunteers at the local farmers’ market.

Caldwell is a senior at Berkeley Springs High School. He won the Big Slack on the Potomac River last summer and had several other top finishes in club tournaments. He is an Eagle Scout, and he’s founder and president of his high school fishing club.
