Gear Review: T-H Marine G-Force Conservation Cull System

What is it?

T-H Marine F-Force Conservation Cull System

What sets it apart?

With the new rule for the Bassmaster Elite Series and Opens tournaments, anglers are now required to use non-punctuing culling systems. The Conservation Culling System from T-H Marine fits the bill, and will keep you bass healthier while in your livewell awaiting the scales. The culling system firmly clamps down on a bass’ jaw without scaring, brusing or leaving a hole that ultimately makes it harder to feed effectively as the wound heals.

How do I use it?

Endorsed by two-time Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year Gerald Swindle, the kit comes with six numbered buoys, a culling beam and a strong plastic clips. By sliding the black collar back, the clip opens and can be easily slid onto the fish’s mouth, then replace the black collar to lock it down. Very easy, and very effective–makes culling up a breeze when minutes matter.

Angler’s insight:

Times change. Rules change. And for the most part, they’re for the greater good. T-H Marine saw the writing on the wall and developed a very effective, and rather cool culling system that is for the betterment of the fishery. A mere $43 bucks for this thing is peanuts when compared to the future of our sport. The more bass that are released alive and healthy post weigh-in, the more fish we’ll be able to catch down the road. This product is a no brainer!
