What is it?
Railblaza C-Tug Sandtrakz
What sets it apart?
First thing you’ll notice about C-Tug’s Sandtrakz All-Terrain Kayak and Canoe Cart are the puncture-free, tubeless compression wheels. Not only will they never need inflation, they’re actually designed to partially flatten during use to create a longer track length for more surface contact. This prevents sinking into soft surfaces, which slow your progress and increase your exertion. Made of high-strength, fiberglass-filled plastic with a compression rubber tread, the wheels use a design technology similar to that of tanks and bulldozers.
How do I use it?
Fully adjustable to handle any kayak hull shape, the C-Tug comes with heavy-duty straps and aluminum cam lock buckle for a fully adjustable performance. This cart is rated for 180 pounds, so it’ll handle a light boat, as well as a full-bodied kayak like my Old Town Predator PDL. The compact design easily breaks down for quick storage inside a kayak hatch or on the deck. Here’s a cool feature: A C-Tug Double Up Bar, sold separately, links two C-Tug Carts to transport extra-heavy kayaks, and small boats up to 350 pounds

Angler’s insight:
We’re not suggesting anyone ignore those “No Fishing” signs, but some of the most intriguing areas for kayak fishing aren’t exactly easy to reach. Whether you paddle or pedal, getting your rig from vehicle to venue often presents the challenge of distance and/or terrain. Dragging only works over smooth surfaces like short grass and sand, but when the way to the fishin’ hole defies you with uneven and inhospitable habitat, a rugged, durable cart facilitates the transport. You’ll appreciate this even more at day’s end when your cart takes the edge off that return trek.
