WHAT SETS IT APART?
Form and function get some major love here, as Daiwa bolstered its Tatula SV Series by creating a one-of-a-kind reel with aesthetic appeal and deluxe features intended to bolster look and operation. For starters, this limited-quantity reel comes dressed with a special limited silver paint. While the standard Tatula SV is built with an aluminum frame with a graphite side plate, the Limited Edition model boasts the lightweight solidity of an all-aluminum frame and side plate.
HOW DO I USE IT?
Available in right- and left-handed versions with a 32mm A7075 SV Spool and 7.1:1 gear ratio, the Daiwa SV103 Limited Edition features an ultra-light carbon fiber handle and vented handle knobs made of Daiwa’s patented ZAION — a lightweight, extremely rigid carbon fiber used in many reels for frame and rotors. Also, Daiwa replaces the graphite star drag used in previous models with an aluminum anodized brilliant blue star drag and caps, which provide better durability and improved appearance.

Daiwa SV103 Limited Edition Baitcaster includes all the standard features Tatula SV users have come to appreciate. Among them, Ultimate Tournament Drag (UTD) for fish-stopping power, the SV spool for even and articulate controlled spool control and the T-Wing System (TWS). One of Daiwa’s most innovative design features, the TWS reduces casting friction and controls line on the retrieve. When you make a cast, the spacious T aperture moves forward so line flows freely and then rotates back when the reel is engaged so line drops into the lower channel for even spool distribution.
