WHAT SETS IT APART?
AFTCO sets the standard for exceptional technical features in clothing, and the jacket and bib are standouts. The angler-favorite SpeedVent hood keeps the hood secure while running at full speed across the water. To further enhance the watertight seal, AFTCO incorporated C6DWR, fully taped seams and the AFTCO double dry cuff system, which ensures you don’t get wet arms underneath the sleeves while casting. There’s a covered chest pocket, D-ring for a kill switch lanyard and a double articulated storm flap.
The bib features the popular Hydronaut Bib shoulder strap system that combines ultra-wide should straps that prevent strain on the shoulders. You also get full coverage to just below the shoulders and neck. Articulated knees prevent binding and provide better range of movement. There are two lined handwarmer pockets and a ComfortFlex mesh back, and you get the same C6DWR fully taped seams.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT:
This jacket and bibs are ideal for a bass club angler’s budget. I opt for the uninsulated Triton jacket and bibs during spring and summer, instead of the insulated Hydronaut set. You get the same features in a lightweight model. What I like most are the non-slip shoulder straps that don’t pull down on my body. What’s more, I sometimes wear just the bibs for extra upper body wind protection. Wear a lightweight hoodie, like the AFTCO Hexatron Performance Hoodie, and you are prepared for a cool spring or fall morning.
