The Marmot Kids’ Nanowave 40-degree Sleeping Bag is a light weight sleeping bag sized for kids.
What sets it apart?
It’s the size of this one for me. It condenses down to about as tall as my hand. It expands to about five feet long, which is perfect for a child’s height. The kids love that it’s small enough they can carry it and gives them just enough room to sleep comfortably.
How do I use it?
This sleeping bag is just the right size to go on any camping trip, sleepover or basic travel adventure. It comes with a compression sack to keep it wrapped up tight while packed. Take it out of the compression sack and fluff it a little, and it gives kids a great night’s sleep on the trail!
How much?
$59.00, but you can usually find it cheaper during a seasonal sale at any outdoor shop.
Jessalyn’s insight:
We got the boys 40-degree rated bags in the bright green and blue color. They love their Marmots. I’ll catch them playing with toys in their sleeping bags or hiding in them. According to Samuel, “it’s sooooo cozy!” We prefer spring to fall camping in the south, so the temperature rating is perfect for our use, but we have gone camping with it a little colder and the boys slept great just tucking an extra blanket or two in their bag. The only negative is that the Marmot is a bit pricey, but for quality, frequency of use and it’s size, it was well worth it for our family.
