What is it?
The Fas-Top Traveler topper and tonneau cover is the ultimate solution for any truck owner who wants options when it comes to covering the bed. It is a simple system that allows you to choose between an open bed, a tonneau cover or a topper and can be set up in minutes in any configuration by one person.
Made in North Dakota and compatible with nearly every major manufacturer and model, the Traveler is easy to install with a few simple steps. I was able to install mine by myself in about 30 minutes with no drilling or special tools needed. It uses commercial-grade, UV-protected fabric and comes in black only.
What sets it apart?
In one word: versatility. From packing a week’s worth of camping gear to throwing in fishing gear for a day trip or hauling a half-ton of landscaping materials, this system has you covered — pun intended. The topper and tonneau can be stored against the cab for a fully open bed, or you can roll the tonneau cover over the rails to protect and hide your gear. If you need extra room, deploy the topper (this video shows how easy it is) and start packing.
How do I use it?
On a daily basis, I use mine with the tonneau cover on so I can throw small items like fishing gear and workout bags in the bed so they don’t stink up my cab and they’re out of the elements. When headed out to the trails with the mountain bikes, I simply roll back the cover, throw them in, and I’m set. For longer trips when I’m loading up all our camping gear, I deploy the full topper in less than five minutes. I also have used the topper setup as a minibase camp when skiing and hiking.

Expert insight:
While this product is not as secure as a hard tonneau or topper due to being made of fabric, Fas-Top has done a great job of making it as theft-proof as possible. With the tonneau or topper in use, the zippers can be snapped inside and the interior latches can only be accessed with the truck gate down.
If you’re a truck owner looking to carry all types of gear, take a look at the Fas-Top Traveler tonneau and topper package. It just might be the solution you’ve been looking for.
