I’ve worn a couple of Magellan shoes before, and I’ve found the brand offers an impressive level of quality at moderate pricing. Often, when you save a few bucks, you find a get-what-you-pay-for scenario. Not so with the Magellan gear. In my experiences, the company’s footwear holds up to the outdoors environment. You can certainly buy more expensive shoes — and there’s no implication of disappointment in doing so — but Magellan offers a solid product for a reasonable price. Notably, I’m a big fan of lace-up shoes that I do not need to tie/untie with each use, so my favorite feature here is the bungee lacing with cord stoppers.
