WHAT IS IT?
Huk Waypoint Insulated Jacket
WHAT SETS IT APART?
Most anglers are diligent stewards of natural resources, so keeping trash out of the waterways is second nature. Huk’s Waypoint Eco-Smart collection facilitates this by offering a selection of outdoor apparel made from recycled bottles. The newest addition, the Huk Waypoint Insulated Jacket, provides a comfortable option for those cool mornings that require more than a hoodie. Made from 100% recycled nylon and yarns, this puff style jacket works well by itself or as a layering element on days with damp forecasts.
HOW DO I USE IT?
Designed to provide warmth without excessive weight, the Huk Waypoint Insulated Jacket contains environmentally friendly Primaloft ECO black 80-gram insulation, which keeps the wearer at a comfortable temperature. Made with a water-resistant shell, the jacket packs into its own pocket for convenient storage and features a stretch binding at the cuffs and hem, zippered hand pockets and a hidden interior zippered chest pocket. Available in five colors and sizes S-3XL.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT:
Huk nailed a couple of key design features that I’ve always appreciated. First is the zippered pockets. On a boat or during a day of fishing on foot, you rarely have a proper hanging spot, so we usually resort to the fold-and-toss method. All’s good until you retrieve the jacket and often invert the pockets. No zippers — your stuff tumbles. The Waypoint Jacket’s zippered interior pocket is a particularly thoughtful detail. Also, I want that stretch binding for my jackets. Cinched hemlines and hook-and-loop cuffs offer acceptable options, but blocking cold air intrusion is key.
