Weighing 6.2 ounces (another model is 6.5), Daiwa’s smallest, most easily palmed reel to date sits comfortably in the hand with maximum bait control and minimum fatigue.
HOW DO I USE IT?
Designed for 10- or 12-pound fluorocarbon or monofilament and 8- to 20-pound-test braid, the Tatula 80 has 9.9 pounds of drag. Built with Daiwa’s Magforce casting system, a 90 mm swept handle and Hyperdrive gearing system, this mighty reel ensures smooth cranking and fluid-like rotation. The 32 mm 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum spool allows better start-up inertia for casting lighter lures and those with poor aerodynamics, while Daiwa’s patented T-Wing System level-wind system promotes long, smooth casts and efficient retrieves.
