WHAT SETS IT APART?
The SLIDE Magnetic Cast Control System (more below) The Cast Iron Carbon Frame makes the reel super lightweight at 6.73 ounces, and the 20-pound Advanced Polymer Drag System. Also, 13 Fishing’s CZB (Concept Zero Ball Bearings) that replace traditional ball bearings with the advantage of low friction and minimal noise, and eliminating ball bearing failure in a casting reel. Available in 6.8:1, 7.5:1 and 8.3:1 gear ratio (right hand models).
HOW DO I USE IT?
The SLIDE Magnetic Cast Control System. Mounted on the top right side of the reel, you can make quick adjustments to the magnetic control system as you fish. Pitch, flip or cast by adjusting the dial, and by combining or isolating the Low-Friction Centrifugal braking with the magnetic SLIDE braking.

What I like about the SLIDE system is you can make adjustments on the fly, saving time and frustration on the water. If casting into the wind is part of the pattern, you can adjust with the thumb braking system; or you can adjust the dial when changing to heavier or lighter weight lures. It does it all without compromising your casting performance.
