Wendlandt and Kimura’s Saturday search

Clark Wendlandt has showed up in a big way once again at the St. Lawrence River. After back to back Top 10’s at this famed fishery, the Texas pro is doing his best to make it three in a row.
As soon as we pulled up to Wendlandt, he hooked up with a solid fish.
At this point in the day, Wendlandt was having a great day with nearly 20-pounds on BassTrakk.
This fish wouldn’t help the Texas pro.
Like many other anglers, Wendlandt is utilizing his forward facing sonar to locate fish on isolated rock piles.
The area he was fishing is expansive, so he trolled at high speeds until he found fish.
Wendlandt hooks up with a better fish.
Wendlandt knows that you can’t get in a hurry when fighting these aggresive smallmouth.
He even mentioned that on Day 2 he applied chapstick while fighting a fish. We all got a good laugh out of that.
This fish would help Wendlandt, but not by much.
Wendlandt hooks another fish, but it wouldn’t cull.
