Get a bird's-eye view of Day 1 of the 2022 Guaranteed Rate Bassmaster Elite at Lake Oahe!

It’s Aug. 18, 2022, and the Guaranteed Rate Bassmaster Elite at Lake Oahe is about to begin.
This was the scene at 6:50 a.m., or 10 minutes before start time, at Indian Creek Recreation Area.
The winds were relatively calm, and the temperature was 62 degrees. Not bad for the middle of August, no matter where you might be.
The boats are about to leave, and so is this postcard tour of the lake.
Mobridge, South Dakota, the host city, is also called “Bridge City” for obvious reasons.
What you are about to see are photos taken from the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.
It’s home to the Lakota and Dakota Nations. You will see wild country, and wild horses.
