Bassmaster Elite Series Rookie Joseph Webster is sitting in a deceiving 21st place right now according to BassTrakk. Webster has 11- pounds, 2- ounces currently, but that’s for only 3 fish. And based on the last one we saw him catch on LIVE, it looks like his estimated weights for BassTrakk may be a little conservative. That last fish looked a little heavier that Webster’s 3- pound, 8- ounce guesstimate.
Webster is on the right size, likely averaging close to 4- pounds per bite so far. He’s one to keep an eye on for not only the Rookie of the Year race (which he started the day in second place in), but also for the title here this week in the 2022 Whataburger Bassmaster Elite at Pickwick Lake. If he adds a couple more like he’s been catching, he’ll rocket up the leaderboard with 20- plus pounds.
