Jay Przekurat has done it. He’s leapt over the 75-pound threshold to stay on pace for 100 and has 76-5 now on BassTrakk, thanks to a monster 6-8 smallmouth he caught moments ago.
Przekurat really put the pressure on with that fish. He has an estimated 4- pound, 9- ounce lead now over Chris Johnston who sits in second place, which is monstrous here considering Johnston would realistically need to cull four 4-pounders with four 5-pounders to chase him down.
Even more alarming for the other competitors, Przekurat still has room to grow with a 4-0 as his smallest fish.
