Paul Mueller just made the comment, “We’ve got a good base weight, two really good big ones and I’m gonna have a shot. Or make it interesting anyway.”
Mueller sits in 3rd currently with this in his well: 5-8, 5-4, 5-0, 4-8, 4-4. He’s 3-6 off the lead and aware that he needs two bigger than anything he’s got to cull up and have a chance. And he’s confident.
He legitimately has a chance to do that, and he knows it. I know people are tired of hearing how good this place is. But it’s that good. When you’ve got 24- and a half pounds of smallmouth and are confident you can cull up to 28 before the day out.
