As Kenta Kimura tucked a nice keeper into his livewell, cameraman Jake Latendresse showed us a shot of the crabby-looking critter Kenta is fishing with this week. The Sabine is full of all sorts of forage for bass to eat, including lots of saltwater species. Crab are definitely on the menu, and anglers have even pulled some of these larger crustaceans up to the surface, after losing pieces of their soft plastics to what they thought were short-striking bass. Kimura decided to match the hatch this week the best he could.
