Brandon Lester is off to a stellar start on Day 3, catching a 6-4 right off the bat at 7:46. He followed that catch up with a few small keepers and then added another quality fish at 8:04, coming in at 3-8. A quick flurry with two that Lester wouldn’t mind having in his bag at the end of the day already.
There was a lot of debate as to whether or not Lester would even be able to get on his starting spot with the expected pressure from local tournaments this morning, but Lester is perched on his spot and sitting pretty so far. He has had to resort to fishing super slow this morning with a Neko rig, where he was able to crank them and catch them on a jig yesterday.
But Lester made the remark that he doesn’t mind doing whatever it takes to get bit. His decision to downsize has him stretching his lead ear
