In the last half hour, Brandon Card and Carl Jocumsen have added a 5-pounder apiece. But Clark Wendlandt put a real beast in the boat moments ago. Card and Jocumsen are all around the 58-pound projected cutline to fish in the Top 10 tomorrow. But Wendlandt’s last bass, a 7- pounder, moved him well into the Top 10 with 21 pounds, 7 ounces on the day and 65 pounds, 5 ounces for the tournament. Wendlandt’s putting pressure on the lead all of a sudden, only 4 pounds back of current leader Steve Kennedy… still with two 2-pound bass available to cull.
