Day 2 of the Gamakatsu Bassmaster Elite at Toledo Bend is underway and similar to yesterday, a bunch of pros are searching one of the most popular creeks in the lake for lunker sized bass.
Pat Schlapper, Luke Palmer and Jordan Lee are among the anglers in the Top 10 in this general area. Schlapper and Palmer have already landed quality keepers.
Sunny and warm conditions are expected most of Day 2. So far winds are much lighter than yesterday, which will likely make it easier for anglers using forward-facing sonar to make accurate casts.
Along with the Elite Series pros, there is plenty of local pressure in the area as well, although many boats are just observing the action.
With warming temperatures this week, many anglers reported catching early prespawners on Day 1 with the anticipation of more bass moving into the area.
