Cody Huff is that guy we’ve been looking for all day, the one that gets on a quick flurry and comes out of nowhere to sprint his way towards the top of the leaderboard.
Huff started the day in good position at 11th with 18-pounds. But has steadily fallen down the leaderboard all day. No more.
Huff just put his fourth 4-plus fish in the boat, all in 16 minutes. When you account for having to fight the fish in, get them in the well, cull, and reposition the boat each time, he probably did all of that in 10 casts or less.
Currently, Huff is the first to unofficially break the 20-pound mark on Day 2 and he’s sitting in second, only 1-pound back of leader Brandon Lester.
