Interesting to note, Brandon Lester sits in 2nd and hasn’t made a cull since 8:13 AM. With a 2-10 in the box, that has to be more than a bit frustrating for Lester who could really improve his catch with another 4- pounder.
Most of his competition in the top 10 have been catching quality fish regularly to try to keep up and catch up with Lester.
Cody Huff has had the second-longest drought of the top 10, without a cull since 9:17 AM. Both of these anglers are due a quality bite and could make a charge here late on day 1 if that bite comes.
It’ll be very interesting to see if they can both get off to an equally exciting start tomorrow morning. If not, their midday patterns may not be able to carry them throughout the rest of the event based on what we’ve seen from them today.
