John Cox is off to a great start.
“Anything we catch between now and 10 o’clock should be a little bit of bonus,” Cox just remarked on Bassmaster LIVE.
With a 3-0 and a 3-12 in the boat already, Cox’s bonus bite is popping off. He’s using a weightless stick bait (Berkeley General) to target fish shallow that he can often see. He also made the remark that the fish he’s catching this morning are fatter than the ones he has caught earlier in the week, believing these are fresh fish coming up from deep water to feed on bluegill.
Cox maybe dangerous today.
