With a Day 2 weight of 27-11, Stetson Blaylock made a giant move into the Top 10, and doesn’t appear to be slowing down.
After fishing around an area for roughly an hour with no luck, the Arkansas native made a short move which has paid off. In the span of about 30 minutes, Blaylock has boated four solid keepers.
The calm conditions are allowing him to thoroughly work this area over, but he also believes it’s making it more difficult to trick them into biting.
“They can see it too good,” said Blaylock after a fish chased his bait back to the boat.
A slight ripple is what he’s wanting, and given the fact that it’s Lake Ontario, it won’t be too long before the wind begins to blow.
