Anything in the double digits has been deemed a big bag here on the Sabine in the past, and that’s certainly the mark to hit here again this week if you want to have a chance to win. Day 2 leader Brock Mosley has averaged just better than that through two days, with 21-6. Four other anglers followed suit: Kyle Welcher (20-14), Keith Poche (20-10), Chad Pipkens (20-6) and Matty Wong (20-4).
Looking at BassTrakk, Mosley is the only angler to maintain the pace through Day 3 so far, catching his best bag of the tournament today. It weighs an estimated 12-6 and puts him at 33-12 for three days, unofficially. Mosley’s bag is one of only four double-digit Day 3 estimates currently on BassTrakk, with these anglers also boating big bags: Matt Robertson (10-10), Kyoya Fujita (10-6) and Drew Benton (10-7).
Alex Wetherell has his catch estimated at just an ounce shy of 10 pounds. And having kept a close eye on the LIVE broadcast, Keith Poche and Clark Wendlandt are both closer to double digits than they are letting on. Each may very likely have more than 10 pounds already.
