The top four in the Progressive Bassmaster Angler of the Year race are all currently in the Top 10 here on Pickwick. David Mullins has arrived back on the scene after a tough start to the tournament, compared to the rest of the top four in the AOY standings. He has a quick limit for 10-pounds early this morning, so he’ll need to do a lot of culling to stay near the top of the leaderboard. But he’s done a fantastic job so far rallying to get back in the hunt after a Day 1 weight of 13-12. Mullins followed that up with a little better yesterday (14-13) to move into 42nd and make the Day 3 cut. He’ll likely need to bump up the pace a lot more here on Day 3 to have a shot at the cut, likely needing 20 pounds or better to do it.
