Amateur Bass Series Woman Lake, Longville, MN July 17th, 2021 Recap
The fourth event of the Amateur Bass Series season had 40 boats on Woman Lake on July 17th. Woman lake is known as a great Smallmouth bass fishery, but the smallmouth were being very difficult to catch. The water level was down 1-2ft with water temps nearing 80 degrees after another long stretch of 90-degree weather. Tournament day was a clear day will calm winds and 90-degree temps.
The top 8 places were able to find smallmouth, all topping over 19lbs for 5 fish. Largemouth were found and a few bags had found some good largemouth, just not big enough to top the smallies.
Dave Saterbak and Eric Schreurs were able to utilize their LiveSight to locate their winning bag of smallmouth coming in at 20.92lbs
2nd place went to Mark Shirley and Matt Garfield with 20.15lb bag. Big bass went to Tony Dvorak and Kristi Lamser with a 6.06lb Smallmouth
