If there is a lake in Arkansas where the Alabama or Umbrella Rig seems to rule, it's Lake DeGray.
While I haven't kept up with all the tournaments here, the ones I do keep up with have all seemed to be dominated by the rig.
In the Bassmaster Toyota Bonus Bucks Team Championship umbrella rigs are banned. In any event, moving forward, where there is a direct line to the Bassmaster Classic, the rig can not be utilized. Now a lot of these teams may have qualified with them. The use of the rig is dictated by the individual circuits.
But it's my guess there are a bunch of folks wishing they could be winging it around right now.
