Drew Benton just put a crucial 3- pound, 1- ounce bass in the boat on his Damiki-style rig. As he boated the bass on a Dirty Jigs jighead, it spit up a threadfin shad, and we saw just how dialed in Benton’s bait selection is. Matching the hatch in size and color is always important, but never more so than on a tough fishery with plenty of bait. Benton has done this well.
