We spotted a herd of elk at daylight as they started to slip into the timber ⦠I told Tiff that I had an idea where they were headed so we bundled up and took off. Three miles later we started to finally cut tracks and as I came around a big set of trees, I look up the hill and there he is 30 yards in front of me, bedded down.
