Today is a special day in bass fishing history. On January 5, 1968, Ray Scott sold Don Butler the first membership in the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society. Former Bassmaster magazine editor Bob Cobb just reminded me of the anniversary date and I thought I’d show a copy of the receipt. Happy Birthday, B.A.S.S.!
